Terms and Conditions of Use

SAFE is a predictive application which can be used to assist in evaluating flight crew alertness within the wider context of a Fatigue Risk Management System. FRMSc confirms that SAFE is not written or assessed to the standards applicable to safety critical software, is advisory only, is intended solely for use by qualified and trained personnel and that decisions based on the interpretation of the results produced by SAFE should only be made by qualified and trained personnel. FRMSc does not accept any liability for any decisions made as a result of using SAFE.
SAFE v 5.5 and higher is built using background Intellectual Property SAFE from QinetiQ limited and the UK Civil Aviation Authority who have licensed it exclusively to FRMSc for further development and use in the aviation industry.
The terms and conditions for access to this model are set out in the license agreement (The License) that entitles you to use this model. Please contact your license administrator for a copy of these terms.
If you do not have a license agreement in place, you must log out of this system immediately.
If you are a bona fide User of this application, as defined in The License, you will be: • A full time employee of the license holder • Trained in the use and interpretation of the model If these conditions are not met, you must log out of this system immediately.
